Home alone

I always imagine that when J goes out of town that I'll get lots of work done. I'll finish up teaching tasks, work on my articles, and clean the house. I'll have all that time to fill, after all. But the truth is that I just mope around the house.

It's a darn good thing yesterday was low points. Tonight I discovered you shouldn't cook pancakes on high heat. They weren't too bad anyway.
