we may have a winner

Today we met with Mandy at Rothchild's Catering. She was very nice. The facility is pretty and seems to be well-kept. They have a thriving business and they know what they're doing. If we hold the reception and ceremony there, it would mean many of the details would be taken care of. They'd set it up and clean it up. They handle the cake and a wide range of appetizers. I'm particularly excited about the possibility of the ice cream sundae bar, but we don't yet know how much that would add. Mandy is going to make us 2 proposals, one for afternoon and one for night. If the proposal meets our budget and if the cake tastes all right, I say we have a winner.

Unfortunately, this would mean no more trips to random places to talk to people about the event. Hmm. I guess I could obsess over the wedding color and bridesmaids' dresses.
