Narnia

I finally saw the Chronicles of Narnia today. I enjoyed it very much. The acting was superb throughout. I especially liked James McAvoy/Mr. Tumnas. And the kids, of course. It's interesting that my sympathy is with Lucy more than any of the other kids. I don't remember feeling that in either the cartoon version I saw as a kid or in the book. It's an interesting choice, but very effective. Georgie Henley did a fine job as Lucy. It's her first movie. The movie fit well into my fantasy world, especially the Alanis song, Wunderkind. I wonder how much of that stemmed from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in the first place.
