I was only able to write for an hour today. I planned to gather materials in the afternoon and write this afternoon, but I decided to take advantage of the fair weather and take care of the leaves in the yard. Then was yoga, then eating out, then watching Muppet Christmas Carol. As you can see, all very pressing issues.

Actually, taking care of the house and of myself are also goals for the holiday break, so I don't feel guilty about spending the time in that way. I'm a bit frustrated at the writing pace, but most of it stems from a confusion about where all my notes are. I can't find what I'm looking for. I know I took this set of notes! My notes are very split up because I've worked on this subject for over 10 years and from many different angles. I wish I could hire someone to transcribe all my notes for me and help me get them organized.

Maybe I will.
