realization

I was sitting in Panera tonight, procrastinating my grading why trying to figure out why I hate it so much. It isn't that hard, and the papers aren't that dull. Then part of my speech to students popped into my mind, how I say that the introduction eases the readers from their world into yours. Basically, I don't want to enter their world. I would much rather ruminate in mine.

In other news, today marks 60 days until the wedding. We now have an officiant. We don't have a sound system yet or a cake topper and we have to hammer out the ceremony details. We're also about $80 over budget.
