2nd attempt: limited success

Last night we found the kittens. They're in our yard after all. I fed Shelley some pork loin and she walked off. I told J, "she's going to go feed her babies. Watch where she goes." He went out the front door and saw her go down to our terrace and into the woods. Then J took a can of food and placed it on the terrace. Shelley came and ate, and then we saw the kittens exploring behind her. They checked out the food a little. The golden one got to eat some of that can. The little tortoise shell (Calliope) didn't have any. We put out a 2nd can, and both kittens were able to eat some of it. They're eating solid food, which is good. I'm thinking we should just continue to lure them with food. Capturing them will be very hard. They run quickly through the honeysuckle and privet tangle.
