veggie food
Jul. 6th, 2006 11:56 pmThis is a possible menu if we hold the reception at the country club:
DINNER STYLE
Greek Style Romaine Salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, red onions and feta cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette
Roasted Garlic Hummus with Grilled Pita Chips
Spannakopita Triangles
Roasted Tomatoes with Mozzarella & Basil Stuffing
Pan Seared Tofu with Lemon, Artichokes & Capers
Seasoned Rice
Coffee, Tea & Water
Doesn't it just rock? Of course it needs bread added, and I'm not quite clear on what else is in the tomatoes. But it sounds very yummy to me.
Survey for non-vegetarians: How disappointed would you be if no meat were offered at a wedding reception? A luncheon one, I mean. We're considering adding meat but it makes me uncomfortable as a violation of my principles.
The folks at dinner tonight seemed fine with it. I had a good time at Tomato Head with some Tech folks.
