Lucy

This is Lucy's first picture. (We used to call her Calliope, but it was two syllables too many.) She's a tortoise-shell like her mom Shelley, but with long hair instead of short. I'm hoping she'll inherit her mother's gorgeous green eyes.

The kittens are doing very well. We hold them at intervals throughout the day. Today they learned how to climb the cat scratcher. They both have good appetites. Lucy has graduated to dry cat food. Tomorrow is their first trip to the vet.
