WW Week 21
Apr. 15th, 2014 01:55 pmWeek's loss: 1.4
Total loss: 20.2
Hurray! I have crossed 20! Now, to hold on to it.
I ate wheat on my trip this past weekend, which has made me crave more wheat and all sorts of other things. As yet, the only wheat I've given in to was my husband's birthday cake. I think it's important to stick to this and to do it right: not to replace wheat products with look-alikes (which are usually unhealthy, with high glycemic indices), but to find wheat-free solutions for meals. To eat lots and lots of veggies and fruit, plus some meat. Grains are good, but I suspect I don't need near as many as I've been getting.
We're in the last 2 weeks of the semester, which means I have lots of work ahead and exercise is taking a back seat. I need to make some wheat-free snack food and find other quick solutions.
