frustrating

Well, Cove Lake is taken. For almost every weekend day in May and June. That was my favorite choice so far. Now I'm disappointed and frustrated. Every place that seems pretty to me is too expensive. I'm afraid we'll end up somewhere crappy. Rothchild is okay, I guess. The inside is very nice. The outside of the building is ugly, and it's in an ugly area of town. It's in a little strip mall, basically, next to a car dealership. That just isn't what I want. But then I keep thinking it would make it all so much easier to do it there.

Hopefully something else will come up, but I don't have any faith that it will. We looked at the Laurel Theatre when we went swing dancing on Wed. J liked it; I didn't. It's a unique space with a lot of personality. The set-up is hard for me to imagine. I'm waiting for J to draw me layouts to convince me. I don't like that the stained glass is empty in places and I abhor the curtains they have up over one side. They can't be removed. The whole place just seemed dirty and dingy to me. J doesn't see it, which strikes me as ironic--he's always more upset about our dirty floors at home than I am. Parking is also a problem at the Laurel.
