WW Week 17
Mar. 17th, 2014 10:50 amWeek's loss: -5.0 (!!)
Total loss: -17.4
Hurray! Last week's gain is gone, and I'm back to where I was in mid-February. Can I now go back to losing? It would be awesome to enter a new "decade."
Keys this week: lots more veggies. I snacked in the afternoons on carrots and hummus instead of cookies or candy or crackers. For the past 2 days, I also experimented with cutting wheat, since so many people are talking about Wheat Belly. I can't commit to total wheatlessness, but I did notice that most of the "bad" foods (ones I'm likely to abuse and with lower nutritional value) have wheat. Somehow it was easier to say "I'm not eating wheat" than "I'm not eating those Ruby Tuesday garlic cheese biscuits." I thought about going wheatless for the whole week, but last night when making my menu for the week it made me feel frustrated and deprived. So I'll be having cereal for breakfast today. But no bread this week, which is my compromise.
I didn't follow through with the exercising I planned. This is a recurrent pattern. I'm going to stop setting exercise goals. This week's activity will be lots of repairs around the house, as it's spring break.
